Flexee WORKSHOP: Flexible working – a team effort

£1,350.00

Which practices are interested in this workshop?

Practices who want to strengthen their existing flexible working (FW) approach through greater team engagement and support.

Who is this workshop for?

All members of the practice team affected by flexible working.

Why are practices interested in this workshop?

Ensuring flexible working is embraced successfully across the practice can be challenging. People can have different ideas of what flexible working is; they may have had variable experiences in the past; they may be worried about the impact on client care or on how staff communication and morale can be maintained.

Bringing the practice team together to clarify understanding, surface concerns, and explore opportunities through a facilitated framework can help ensure better outcomes by building a culture of understanding, personal accountability, and commitment.

Flexible working is a team effort if we wish to ensure fairness and avoid resentment between team members and between the employee and the employer. Oftentimes, conversations on this topic have never been had with the practice team so we advise the team is upskilled in this way of working. The aim is to ensure common understanding, diminish disruption and dissatisfaction, unpick any unrealistic expectations, and ensure a unified team.

Key Outcomes:

  1. Common understanding & language
  2. Surfacing of the issues and opportunities presented by FW in your practice and early exploration of how to address these with ownership from the practice team
  3. Enhanced confidence in making existing FW a success
  4. The start of a cultural shift towards better embracing of FW
